Reducing food loss and waste is critical for sustainable food production and a healthier planet.

Farm to Feed works with smallholder and commercial farms to ensure that their full harvest finds its way to the consumer. This way we prevent food that is fresh but odd-shaped from being wasted.

We know how many KGs of which type of produce we have rescued from going to waste. Together with the University of Wageningen, we estimate our per KGs impact in terms of CO2 equivalent.

At Farm to Feed, we have a rigorous quality control process in place to ensure that only the best quality produce reaches our customers. We have three quality checks: at the supply hub, the warehouse, and at the point of dispatch, to ensure that the produce is of the highest quality.

Additionally, our warehouse and sourcing team are HACCP certified to ensure that they are trained to identify and prevent potential hazards and contamination throughout the supply chain. With our quality control process, we guarantee that our customers receive only the freshest and highest quality produce.

We do not charge a subscription fee to customers who buy from us nor to farmers who sell with us.

We off-take the full harvest, including odd-looking produce that would have otherwise been used as animal feed or composted, helping to reduce food waste and ensuring that farmers can profit from their hard work.

Since the launch in April 2020, our current run rate has been rescuing 100,000 vegetable portions per week. Moreover, we have rescued over 920,000kgs of food and therefore saved 1000 tons of CO2 equivalent.
